See You When You Get There

I’ll see you when you get there,
In my mansion in the sky.
I must go on ahead,
My time on Earth will soon be thru,
I have lived my life,
Doing things I thought were right,
Which are not important any more.
Faith and love are what we need,
To pass thru Heaven’s door,

I’ll see you when you get there,
Your loved ones and I will wait for you,
When your time on Earth is thru.
Remember the love of God is more important,
Than what you gather and do,
Don’t worry about what you leave behind,
God’s love is what you will find.
You’ll be ready to join me in the sky,
When the years fly by,

I’ll see you when you get there,
We will sing with the angels and the Saints,
And bask in God’s love,
With no worries and complaints.
We will come together in that circle in the sky,
To leave the old and join the new when we die.
My life has been mostly happy, at times a little sad,
Lived thru good times, lonely times and bad,
I am tired and want to go home,
Scared and must go alone.
It is not a time for sadness,
But ultimate gladness.
Be of good cheer,
For I’ll see you when you get there.
