See You On the Other Side
Sometimes you've got to go through something to get somewhere
You've got to needle through nightmares...where nobody cares
Once soaking in sunshine now drowning in the deep end of the black and the blue
Survival of the savage...you do what you have to do
You've got to get your heart wrecked to get your head right
Swallowed by a serpent...laughing hooker getting high
See you on the other side
You've got to drive through the desert to get to the oasis
Like a rabbit on the run where the wolf controls the races
You've got to keep seeking aces even when the jokers play their jokes on you
You do what you have to do
You've got to get bruised by what's bad to get to what's good
Sometimes you've just got to strike a match to the wood in a forest of fear
Crushed by confusion to get crystal and clear
Risk...Sometimes you just have to take that roller coaster ride
See you on the other side
In the bowels of a beast you travel through many tunnels
You see sad scenes from your life...ugliness now unravels
You've got to go through the terror so you can see through the storm
You've got to give up those ghosts and give it to God
After all you've been through you do what you have to do
Take what is wicked and wrong now living righteous and right
Walking by faith and never by sight
See you on the other side
