See you again.
Soliciting moments from the lost past,
I walk down memory lane.
Weaving through the days of laughs,
I tread towards the one that's most profane.
A flicker of hope crosses my eyes
As I sort through the disguise.
A smile, a frown, a lie, a crown
Were these all sources of my soul's demise?
Yet I ponder
Hoping beyond hopes
that maybe today is the day I see you again.
