See Me -An Apology-

See me as i am now
Can you look me in the eyes
After all the things we've been through
After all this unknown time

Do you understand now
Why i did the things i did
Can you accept now that I'm sorry
Let me love you like i did

Please come home to me
To the place where you belong
Here by my side again
Don't leave me on my own

Tell me you can forgive me
That you can let me try again
Can we crawl back to our memories
When we'd make this town our own
Have our fires burn together
Build my heart into your home

Please see me as i am now
Know I'm screaming in my soul
My spirit aching for your touch now
My body starved for you to hold
Tell me you'll come home now
To where you belong
