See Instead of Lookin

Lookin’s got nothin to do with seein.
Usually if you spend less time lookin,
you can maybe see just a little more.
But if you spend more time lookin you
understand even less of what you see,
cause the brain can only see one thought

                   at a time.

It’s all a matter of perception of what
you see and smell and comprehend
when you stop and absorb the signs.
The vision comes to those who wait
and understand, the less they have,
the more they can receive in due time.

Some really great wisdom within your poem Charles. I want to thank you for honoring my haiku in your last Strict haiku contest, I am very proud. I am sure because of you my haiku's have improved greatly.
