See a new way of seeing
Each time you touch a heart
With mere words
Make it bloom
You smile as if it was nothing
as if you
had not just stopped its doom
each time you look
with wonder in your eyes
I see a new way of seeing
I lift towards the skies
And with each mention
Of whales and ocean
You make me want you
Make me yearn
For all the love
That comes to me
With loving a cat
How could I even make you see
What I see when I look at you
Hope, life, truth, strength
And so I accept the loneliness
For it doesn’t even make a dent
In the happiness and joy
I feel with you
So Thank you,
for loving me
and in return letting me love you.
