Seduction of Sorrow

and who said we are sober, we so often swim deep within the swirling currents of wasted thought to ruminate on our heartache and despair we become intoxicated by the scent of our own displeasure and what we consider unfair we readily abandon solace and instead, paralyze our thoughts on fractured expectations and fear captivated by our own darkness we wade further.. we must admit to that sweet seduction of sorrow we seek as we fixate on savoring pleasure in the sadness lingering there we fixate on the madness we fixate on the pain It’s the sweet inhale of dissatisfaction that we cannot abstain
