Secrets of Life
Soft golden rays of sunlight creates
a reddish glow on the horizon that
does not exist; it is only one of
many illusions that life creates.
Every cloud beholds a pinkish
tinge, like a Sheppard’s delight ready
to set sail in to the unknown.
Silence is broken by the
many birds breaking into song;
innocent, untouched and pure.
Much of the sleeping plant life
is covered in dew fashioned from the
past day’s breath, like little
crystal tears ready to reflect light
thus producing many bands of colour.
Mist covers a minute amount of
ground representing the meaning of
another day slowly being born
erasing yesterday’s misfortunes,
however, it still bares memory.
Morning has broken and countless
secrets are yet to be found.
