Secrets' Game

Secrets, secrets are everywhere, Secrets, secrets, not meant to share. They fill my head and crowd my mind, They make me sick, they make me blind. But still I keep them safely inside. Because it's much harder to face them than it is to hide. Keep them hidden away where no one sees, It's getting so hard though I'm weak in the knees, There is so much that I want to say, But this mask of secrets I can't just cast away. It's all I have left to hide my shame, So I'm forced to play the secrets' game.

Oh Liz, this is brillent and so real for everyone as we all hold secrets. I want to applaud you for providing us with such a wonderful poem from you and Thank You for sharing your burning passion of writing with us all and more importantly for giving us a little of yourself. Please, do not ever consider placing your poetic pen down as your amazing words of poetry would be missed thus causing your readers to bear a frown. You Go Girl. MPK

Hi Liz - I know the feeling - During my last term in Prison I found the Lord alone in a cell and he gifted me poetry and I wrote out every secret/sin I ever had committed - what a relief it was - It's hard to confess it all but once its out we are free - God Bless
