Secret Slippers

Her secret slippers lie
under the bed
I think I'll put them on instead
I'll go downstairs
and have a drink
I just need some
time to think
I don't want to lie with you
put out that light
put out that fire
its really not you that I desire
I'll take your cash
and your car
I'll let you think that I'm here
but really dear
for years and years is only been
me
playing on your fear.
