Secret Place
There is a secret place in the heart, that holds things so dear,
yet in that place, a hand gripped tight, with fear.
As we live our lives, it’s what we don’t see,
that comes in, trips us with it’s reality.
Down for the count, will we rise again,
that hand with fear gripped tight, will we ever win.
Now in the darkness, deep inside your mind,
those things you hold so dear, now you try to find.
Will they pull you back, stand you on your feet,
or just bring tears, that is bitter sweet.
For what we hold dear, to our hearts you see,
can sometimes only bring, forth tears, full of misery.
But, if deep down inside you, you have let the Son-shine in,
that secret place in the heart, whispers to you, you know going to win
