Second Guessing-Book 9

~Second Guessing~

I use words to keep you second guessing
To remind us all this life is a blessing
Taking the morals most have left behind
And reinserting them back into your mind

See the facts of this life we once believed
I retrace for any who may wish to receive
To break the barriers centuries have built
Before all existence starts to die and wilt

The funny thing is I’m not a man of religion
And most all that I write is my own opinion
Delivered from the spectacles before my eyes
Separated from hypocrisy and historical lies

I’m not saying all that’s written is wrong
From America to Russia, Iraq or Hong Kong
Christianity, Mormon, Muslim or Buddhism
They all say the same thing if you twist them

At the core of what ignites our mental thought
Still planted past knowledge that we’re taught
There’s a power beyond any life on this Earth
That delivered you from the gardens of birth
