Second Chances

Life is full of surprises so many different things...
As each day comes to an end you never know what tomorrow is going to bring...
Despite our differences from the past we have always managed to remain friends...
And who would of thought that we would be back here again...
Second chances don't come along every day...
And those who are lucky enough to receive them don't let them slip away...
So today I give you all of me my love,my trust,my heart...
For today is about second chances and making a brand new start...



I wrote this poem back in 2001 for my mom when she remarried my step dad
