Second Chances

I won't give a second chance, I will not try again, you see I've done the cliche things
they say, Like walking in the rain.

I've chased rainbows, wished on a star, and kept a lucky penny, but I don't see what good
it did, to be honest, I just don't see any.

Forgiveness I can give to you, Sorry's I've heard alot, but to try again to be with you,
the strength I have not got.

Tears, I've cried a river, and pain, I've had my fill, now I must start over, and believe
you me, I will.

History in the making, a monument to strength, I'll walk alone from this day on, I'll go
to any length.

Your Alibi's all sound the same, you used each trick in the book, but watch me walk away
from you, without a second look.

aww this is sad but a great write, sometimes we have to walk away from people, I have had to chose to walk away from people before because they were trying to have an impact on my faith, keep walking and look to God his hand will be upon you always the one person who we can always rely on he never lets us down, take care from diane

Great write Julie. Lovely use of rhyme, layout and cliche to reinforce the message. Love, Nigel
