Second Chance

We do what we believe to be right
Even when their is no need to fight
Endless taunting make us hard
Why do we even start

Times like these only getting dark
Living life seems much harder
Violent tempers rage through everyday
We push them all far away

We only want to pay our bill
Make sure our family eats every meal
We steal like we have no choice
They say we do but hear no voice

Is this how we want to live life?
Living behind the barrel or bloody knife?
But now we found our second chance
Our only chance to a future again

We all have our destined day
For our children to run, laugh, and play
There flowers bloom now again
To flourish in our only second chance...
