Seatbelts

Public annoucement number two
Cruising through Georgia don't drink and drive
July first those good old boys better buckle their seat belts
In the pick-up trucks and stop the texting it kills
TEENS no cell phones used while driving, EVER!

New laws in Georgia, yall!!
Lawmakers finally care if the rednecks get killed, who would have thought anybody
would care about those guys?!
They are just comic relief!

Great message, Doris. Drinking or texting while driving can be deadly. (I do have some fun redneck friends -- comic relief, as you say.) Trying to text while concentrating on driving is impossible. Here in Florida, it's a crime for anyone to use a cell phone while driving. Well done, "y'all!" Love, Carolyn

A VERY CARING WRITE, IT'S NICE TO KNOW SOMEONE WANTS TO SHOW A LITTLE COMPASSION BECAUSE NOT TOO MANY EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE THE FACT THAT TEXTING AS WELL IS VERY DANGEROUS, AND PEOPLE SHOULD BE MORE AWARE, AND LOVED YOUR ENDING TO YOUR WRITE LOL, ENJOYED YOUR WRITE-SKAT

Another charming write, Doris, and a very valid one. I am glad Georgia has this seatbelt and anti cell phone and texting law. Seatbelts do save lives, and cell phones and texting often cause serious accidents and death. Thank you for your recent comments on my poems. Carl.

I care because I have a little of that blood in me...Do you suppose your father will ever learn those rules and obey? I just can't get him to stop texting and driving and he will not put on a seat belt even after breaking his back in that wreck..Thanks for reading mine and the help but can't use any punctuation in it ...I gues that means backslashes etc...Mom
