Notes About The Poem

Seasons of Love

Will you love me in the springtime When nature brings earth back to life The loveliest time of the year Causing poets pens to ignite. Will you love me in the summer Amid those heady, hazy days Dancing for joy in the sunshine Splashing through the downpours of rain. Will you love me in the autumn The time of year I adore most When the withered leaves start falling Bidding sad goodbyes to their host. Will you love me in the winter When ice cold Jack Frost nips and bites Will our love be kept warm enough Through the freezing, dark wintry nights. If you love me for four seasons Let there be a thousand reasons. +*+*+*+
