Seasons Fall
Fallen leaves scatter, driven by winds
Summer’s tokens lie, in numerous blends
Crisp chills govern, early morning dew
Change of season, welcomed by few.
Tall trees sway, sun rays blink
Starry clear nights twinkle and wink
Fall ushers winter, such a lull
Perhaps we could, make it stall.
Array of colors, foliage at best
Nature is prepared, soon to rest
Exchange of scenery, short term stay
Fall drifts on, to winter’s day
