Every once in a while I encourage my husband to collaborate with me to create a poem. I gave him the prompt "what if tomorrow never comes"... Considering he is struggling with cancer, I'm sure I will always treasure this poem.

Facing west not to ever miss a sunset I close my eyes to imbibe its warmth And listen to the symphony of nature Soak in its every beat I kissed my wife goodnight Expressed how much I love her What if tomorrow never comes Published in my 24-page photo/anthology ~RANDOM MUSINGS VOL.3~ 2020 Submitted on March 17, 2020 for contest STRAND CHOICE J sponsored by BRIAN STRAND Originally posted on January 12, 2020
