Past the light of an August sun
Through the heart who has done
All the nurturing of the garden
Silencing the dark, offering pardon
Past the echo of September morn
Unfriendly chill who comes to warn
As Autumn pours in tender leaves
For a passing Summer who grieves
Past the kindness of October praise
Whispers of wind and wings amaze
Gentling the night with soft smiles
From moon and stars seen for miles
Past the miracle of November’s embrace
Stirring dreams who live with her grace
Giver of life, giver of light, giver of love
Souls recall - true joy comes from above
As Autumn finally holds Winter’s hand
We know the seasons are as God planned
From moment to moment… wonders
Remind us all that His voice thunders…
In a promise, where He reassures the heart
With Him beside us, we’ll never come apart!
