Seasonal Meditations
Glittering snow-covered morning
with a cold, crisp feeling of expectancy
pours new meaning
to the blue light of dawn.
The beauty and warmth
of summer is but a memory
of times when nature cared;
feelings were intense and creation's
colors were a palate of lush intensity,
a moment in nature's eternity'
when she displays her capabilities.
The challenge of winter dares one
to fight for existence,
discover one's ability to survive
in a moment of confusion and cold,
whether crossing a moor or
skiing the Alps.
