Seasonal Love

Our love is like spring
Full of laughter, color, and happiness
Unlike spring though
Our days last
The time we’ve had seem to go by so fast
What once is our future soon becomes our past
In the winter months, when the birds don’t sing
Our hearts beat a happy tune
Never, could I fully describe the love be share
Love is a feeling
The feeling of a summer breeze that catches your hair
…Pure happiness
Yes, we’ve been through our goods and bads, our love and hates, our happy and sads
But our love always comes out on top of it all
When the autumn leaves begin to fall from the trees above
I know it’s been another year
Beyond the point of falling
Now fully in love

A love that withstands time must surely be true, Angela. You are lucky to have found someone who stands by you in good times and bad. This poem restores my faith in the enduring power of love. Well done!
