Season to See
We see further.
Even with soft leaves obstructing our view.
We can see past, as if we have X-rays.
Summer is a seeing season.
Seashells, and seasons, and the sea…
Our eyes are brazen.
Even under sunglasses.
Unlike in winter…
When we close the curtains.
When we step outside, it is like we are trespassing.
As we destroy snow with our footprints.
Summer is…
The season of sight.
All the things we see and more…
That we tend to forget.
