Seaside Valentine
fine grains
of warm sugar sand
blown by a soft sea breeze
pelleted our feet
as we ran
to the foaming surf
gulls drifted overhead
red sun slowly sank
heart with arrow
and our initials
drawn in the sand
driftwood fire
embers floated
to kiss the sky
wine, smiles
embrace, love
forever
