Seashore Blessings

As the sun begins to set in slow recession,
the tide rolls in and releases all my tension.
The smell of the salty breeze brings clarity
to my mind, a secret treasure the sea offers
when with it, I spend time.

Words of poetry the gulls speak upon my eager
ears. Stories that have been told for hundreds
of years. Listening to them speak from within
my heart, feeds my imagination with fresh new
thoughts.

Footprints for a mile behind me I leave as I go,
up and down its crystalline seashore.
When I feel the last of the suns warmth and
snuggling flow, I start to feel its healing glow.

Evening is set and the sun is now to us asleep,
I give the seashore one more peek.
For all the many blessings upon us, it abundantly
heaps. I pray the Lord our seas are safely able to
continue to reap.

I will have to stop by and read and I will. Maybe they missed us Ha, Ha, Ha, you think? I think sometimes we have to just take a break and regroup from all the soul sharing. I don't know about you, but sometimes it just drains me creatively. Lots of love, Sharon
