Searching Soul

The deluge of the stream of life floods my soul with distressing strife. I feel my sense sink, and my plea, to divine bliss, O God, take me. From the eroded shore rolling I hear the distant bell tolling. My essence crumbles in debris, to divine bliss, O God, take me. Away from the domain of sin, my soul searches for peace within, and seeks holiness to be free. To divine bliss, O God, take me.
