Searching For You the Right Way
wishing on the moon because stars are for kids
looking within because looking beneath the surface of skin holds more truth
holding back good dreams because the nightmares are more then beautiful
seeing a heart before a face because falling for someone's heart is more romantic
searching for love instead of loss
longing for someone to call me beautiful because I want to feel loved
waiting for forever because I know i'm not worth a week of your time
trying to find imperfect so my love will be perfect
hiding behind a mask to find someone to pull it off to show my true beauty to the world
holding the key in trembling hands wanting one to stop my trembling hands and take the key to my heart
to be perfect seems overrated though overrated seems more realistic to me
late night posting to wait for you to like it
listening to sad songs to find the beat of my heart
looking in the dark to see who would be the sunshine to my days
searching for a boy who sees life as I do
watching love stories to find a trace of my love in them
listening to the wind to hear your whisper
