Searching for Hazel B Kay
purple cloaked hag with her hair of gray
flew through the sky on Halloween day
She looks dour one said, not a bit of gay
I knew her as old witch Hazel B. Kay
I said not a word, for it was not mine to say
But I wished I had seen Hazel that day
I followed her broom’s trail to the bay
But she was long gone, by then far away
