Searching For a Sprite

Searching For A Sprite

I have searched for you for so long
In the winter
When the tree’s branches were bare
In the spring
When new life came into the world
In the summer
When the green canopies covered the skies
And in the autumn
When the leaves turned to reddish fire
I have searched for a Forest Sprite
Whom no one has ever seen
I wish to ask for her a single blessing
Ask her if I could have an everlasting love
And the happiness which comes with it
If I could ask that of a winsome Sprite
I would have lived my life with hope
And that may just be enough for me

Nice whimsical dreams. Oh but to find that elusive sprite. I like how this covers the seasons in your search. Nicely done.
