Searching

The search for the silver lining
is often in vain
when seeking the light
within the pouring rain.
Not all barters
offer gain
nor is there answers
for all life's pains.

To live within
and through some storms
is just a lesson
in being reborn.
Always reaching
for intangible threads
finding the right one
before we are dead.

Each search is a journey
when answers we seek
not for the timid,
the angered or weak.
Questioning events
is a normal response
when one feels abandoned
and the heartache of loss.

I find myself editing this as I read it. I think it's because it has some of my flavor in it. Maybe I'm rubbing off on you. And vise versa. You have that ethereal air to your prose and I just love tapping into that when I can and soaring in those cirrus clouds. Maybe I'll soupmail you some of my thoughts later. So nice to hear from you. Such a joy to have 8 comments.
