Searching
If you can smile a million smiles,
Or cry a thousand tears,
Remember where you came from,
And why you're all still here,
For if not this day, then when?
Is it something you search for,
Or want to overcome?
Why must it all plague us,
For only you know your true self.
Yet we beckon and wait
For the time to be aright,
Where all our dreams inside us
Are what gives us that daily fight.
Is it a guiding light that guides us,
Or a simple thought in our minds,
Whatever it must be that bogs us,
Is sure to be an immaculate find.
