Searching

I’ve read in books about something called love
So I liked the sound of the word love
I spelled it in each and every letter, hoped for it every day
Until one night I thought I saw it coming up my way
It opened its arms for me in a shape of a man
I ran to him thought he would understand
He held me tight for some time or some reason
But in a blink of an eye I have found out that the season
Of love for me was over and I
Was pushed away by him beneath the devils eye
So there I was standing alone facing my fate
With such wrong people with faces so fake
At first I saw beauty but then I've found out
That pure selfishness was leading these hopeless crowds
They were nice to me only for some purpose they wanted
And if they faced problems they pushed me to confront it
Just to save themselves from the revenge of time
To their mistakes of their unforgiving crimes
So till now I’ve searched in every human I’ve known
To see some true faces but away I’ve thrown
The hope to find anyone who loves me at all
CAUSE LOVE IS TOO BIG and they are just too small….

Very funny! At least you have a sense of humor. That is a good thing. Yes, men can be very selfish, and many of us get our priorities all screwed up. It is hard to find a good one, and I am sorry--but I am taken. There must be somebody out there for you, but you have to take your time and be very, very careful. Good luck! Experience is such a good teacher.
