Searching

The other was judgemental
One a bit too strict
We had only got so far
But, learned to pray the rosary
Searching for the right kind
So we can be accepted.
Even though we believe,
In metaphorical faith
We live in a time of war
And need our faith even more.
But being surrounded by judgers and nonbelievers
Is hard when we want to believe.
The published version of my life
Will come in words of torment and strife
But always
Always
I know
I'll have my faith
Because this is what I found
From all my searching.
Thank you
United methodist people
Thank you
God.
I'm no longer searching.
