Search For Me

Search for me ~ in morning's empty fields,
within the grounded clouds of the sea,
and drip from beach rose lips
where an insatiable patience waits.

Search for me ~ in cumulous silence.

Daydreams are born, but never grow old
waiting for another afternoon...
when the sun is swallowed by a wish...

Find me...where memories pause
on the shores of...yesterday's tears

Delightful piece which brings to mind Mark Strand's absence of field in his Keeping Things Whole. Poetry is certainly a place to lose oneself; and if no one seaches for me there, I'm happy. Congrats on your well-deserved win on one of Nette's always inviting prompts.
