seagull goddess
pink brought a lone seagull into the yonder sky
she advanced with purpose; her intent known to her alone
struggling against the winds, sprayed by ocean foam
I felt she was an angel of some sort, a messenger
the waves of the ocean began to twirl and spin
greeting the seagull as if she were a goddess
for of course she is, in some way
unclear to mere mortals
