Sea Star

Awash by ripple of night's waves
the glittering starfish drifts
like an open flower on clay--
its plump flesh, a reddish lip
enchanting two lovers' soft kiss
through a glide of dusky sand.

I'm a sucker for sea creatures as they can bring a hint of romance on a tropical scene. This is amazing!
