Sea of Uncertainty

Do you know what I hate? I hate the night time. It’s so lonely and dark. Nobody ever goes out during the dark. They stay secluded. That’s what my mind does. Because of you, my mind is secluded. It is stranded on the island of disparity and loneliness. It is scared to escape because It does not know anything different. It’s scared that if it ventures out and tries something new, It will just get hurt again. Every time is sails out into that sea of uncertainty, it just gets put back into the same place. I used to be told, “Manipulation of the mind manipulates the mind over time.” Now I tell myself that when I think about you. .

Ouch. That's a hefty write. 7 for being so well penned and provoking such a tangible emotional response.
