Sea of Green

One spring morn

A boat set sail

Sailing away

On a sea of green

All the flowers

Were on board

Traveling forth

New sights to see

All the snails

Were too slow

Missed the boat

Didn’t sail

Gophers too

Left behind

Staying out

Of bright sunshine

Sail away

On a sea of green

Going forth

In the new day

I wish we could have set sail on a boat next to you and left the gophers and mice behind. Long story, best not told before breakfast.
