Sea Haven Delight
Our beach house,
Just for a week,
A week that goes so slow,
But way too fast,
A week of no responsibilities,
One week of no worries or cares,
Of laying in the sun,
Of playing in the surf,
A week of peace,
At the Outer Banks,
With my Dad's side of the family,
Not as close to the beach as previous years,
But a beautiful house,
Too big in my eyes,
But large enough for fifteen people,
Warm southern sun makes me want to stay,
A cool breeze off the ocean is perfect,
There is no place in the world that I'd rather be right now.
