Sea Grave

So tired of so many thoughts, Of so many dreams that lose their wings. Half dead sighs from blackening lips, Eyes flat like dusty, neglected mirrors. Circles will continue on, quite eternally, Yet every circle breaks into pieces. Dreams flit about, enticingly so, Vanishing away like mist, when touched. Like a siren calling out so sweetly And then I crash into the sea, The dark, raging, selfish sea, The sea, whose arms are so long, With hands so strong and rough, Embracing so selfishly, a deadly mockery. Air bubbles whisper so sweetly As they drift far away, out of reach. Sinking deeper into the darkness, Until I hit bottom and lie still, With only barnacle like memories To rip at my heart.
