Sculptured By Poorness

SCULPTURED BY POORNESS
by Shyane A. Roa

One scratch, one peck as they fondly call me,
I am seen as nobody in the community
Yes, I am a beggar in the street
I am a woman who wears a dirty outfit

I work during the day and study at night
Hoping to have a future that was so bright
But the way I acted was unpleasant to many
They really hated my personality

Every day I am begging for food to live
I became a servant just to survive
No one can dim my clear and bright visions
Because this is me, with a strong determination

I can endure life, no matter how tough
Even they hated me I will continue my journey
Rejection is my inspiration
Obstacle is my key to build my ambition

As of now, it’s my dream to have my career,
I am proud that once I became a pauper,
Because I was molded to become resilient
And face life with joy and merriment

Such a motivational and uplifting poem this is, every person should be like this, we all should work hard to accomplish our dreams, for indeed with hardship there is ease but it depends on us, if we work hard, surely one day it will pay off, good luck and have a really nice day
