Screen of Awareness

I knew what I know long time ago
About the concept of wrong and right
Of good and evil, it guides me through
It always points me to the light

Even if light sometimes change hues
It does not change what's dark and bright
For, sometimes jazz may turn to blues
But black is black and white is white

When someone robs to feed his kid
The fact won't change, stealing is crime
There's still wrong in what he did
There are right ways to earn a dime

Though, God's name may be different
In some cliques, in some religions
But in true sense, all are coherent
That he's the same father of creations

We have our laws and the commandments
Where our acts are chiefly based
And though, there may be some amendments
The guiding concept can't be erased

So when temptations come to our mind
We always know what's good and evil
We can't just leave this fact behind
For, we must act for what is civil
