Screen Obsessed Teens

Screen Obsessed Teens
Finding home in cold dark screens.
Show support, send a like,
Post another, cry all night.
Yet another insecurity.
Take a jab at another's purity.  
Swallow a pill, lose some weight;
You feel so heavy the scale could break.
Strive for beauty and perfection.
Pretend to brush off society's rejection.

Joseph P. DiMino May 25, 2018 at 11:00 PM Consumers and not creators, what people are meant to be. This is very well written. Lots of good thought here, thought that can help young people reevaluate, and perhaps develop a more healthier perspective.
