Screen Obsessed Teens

Screen Obsessed Teens
Finding home in cold dark screens.
Show support, send a like,
Post another, cry all night.
Yet another insecurity.
Take a jab at another's purity.
Swallow a pill, lose some weight;
You feel so heavy the scale could break.
Strive for beauty and perfection.
Pretend to brush off society's rejection.

Consumers and not creators, what people are meant to be. This is very well written. Lots of good thought here, thought that can help young people reevaluate, and perhaps develop a more healthier perspective.
