Screaming Kids

Screaming kids flourish through the hall,
Dreaming kids escape from their spot,
While dreary teachers scream in a brawl
Between pupils taking their shot.

Dreaming kids escape from their spot
Searching for freedom that seldom sails
Between pupils taking their shot
While yearning for peace that prevails

Searching for freedom that seldom sails,
Such souls try so hard in silence
While yearning for peace that prevails
Amidst the old sinners’ ‘violence’

Such souls try so hard in silence
Persuading teachers to lose their voice
Amidst the old sinners’ violence
Nonetheless, that’s solely their choice

Persuading teachers to lose their voice,
The only thing children can do.
Nonetheless, that’s solely their choice
Or is it the teachers’ choice too?
