Screaming Feathers
Screaming Feather's
The echoes of chaos ran through his head
Sitting on the edge of his king-size bed
Placing his pillow over his face
The feel of his four-day stubble
On his custom pillowcase with ruffle lace
His head has been in a sort of bubble
Pressed against his lips was tight
A neanderthal scream he let it go
The feathers absorbed the blow of the scream
Just in time to lay down to dream
He closed his eyes just for a minute
The feathers released the cries that he wept
An echo of screams just came out
The feathers only hold the doubt
