Scream the Night

You scream the night
and let me be
as your indecisive heart is killing me.

With your little boy smile so naturally
you disarm me in a moment quite easily.

I'm alot like you turned inside out
without all the critical issues you've got
without all the lies and the vices you've sought
without all the internal fights that you've fought.

Alone in my room like a glance that was caught
Untying my heart from it's terrible knot
Wanting to weep but settling to not
as I wait for the passion I'm filled with to stop

So YOU scream the night
and tell me to sleep
as I barely hold the sanity you told me to keep

Alive but not living is quite easy to be
ant that's how I"ll continue until you set me free...
