Scotch Pine Guards and Sun

Scotch pine guards solemnly keep forest secrets Walking steadily in the cold wet stuff, we marvel At the beauty of Mother Sun shining above pine guards. Sunlit glory protecting mystical, magical forest nuances. With her full force dazzling light. Keeping us in awe Revealing nothing, hiding her owls, foxes, and deer. Keeping us safe from them and them from us.

Connie, I do not usually use imagery, as it is difficult for me. It takes a lot of THOUGHT, and sometimes I just say "no! Let's not even try". This was a rare poem for me, my friend. I am so glad you recognized this.Thank you Connie!
