Scorching Summer
midst blazing sun rays
verdant landscapes turn arid
parched lands lay barren
summer* heat scorching
luscious vegetation dries
awaiting rain fall
heaven's blessings yearned**
down pour of water crystals
God's grace flowing down
*Psalm 32:4 … Moisture is turned into the drought of summer.
