"Unfortunately, it’s unrealistic to rescue all wildlife impacted during oil spills." - quote by NOAA on oil-spills
--------------------------------------------------
Even oil spills on ocean surface roars
Grieving the odd dead birds washed up on shores
A few gallons slicks, crude sink
Spillers and Skimmers off sync
Priceless space tools - a gamble on all fours

It's heartbreaking watching those poor creatures suffering, we humans have got a lot to answer for.

'It's heartbreaking' as you say dear poet, makes us feel terribly helpless too. Thank you for your kind visit and words, means so much to me. Thank you.

I grieve for every bird. A little bird obsessed, I admit. Your poem sticks to me. xomo
