School Closed Due To Weather

To kids, snow days are a vacation
While to their parents it’s vexation
The roads again slick with snow
So off to school they won’t go
The children will shout “Hooray”
But mom says, “Not another day!”
Confined inside, they run wild
The school, mom does revile
The principal she gives a call
“What is the matter with y’all?”
“I’ll bring them over on my back
If you’ll only get the school on track”
“How much of this can we take?
Those closing are just a fake!”
“Whatever it takes, I don’t care
I’ve got to get ’em out of hair.”
